About Stevens Home Inspections
SH&CISCO was founded in 2004 to meet a strong need for high caliber Home Inspectors who could inspect from a higher place and communicate effectively. Drawing on my life’s background in multi-industry sales, insurance loss control inspections, a lifetime of remodeling and maintaining older homes, and an intensive apprenticeship with two of South Carolina’s most long-serving and renowned inspectors, this company quietly began serving and educating the most discerning clients, one at a time.
I came to this business not as a young man, but with the judgement and experience of an over 40 husband and father, who made a conscious decision to enter the home inspection business because it is where I thought I could do the most good. I bring the wisdom of one with broad experience, who has been kicked a bit in life. I am committed to bringing light and honesty to everyone I encounter, and every structure I inspect.
A final, necessary quality in a high caliber inspector is the ability to effectively present findings to a client. The ability to show problem conditions to clients must include the ability to explain why, describe the implications, and discuss what can be done about them. The best Inspectors do this because it is the hallmark of professionalism, but also because they know it leads to satisfied clients and future referrals. Early on, a realtor told me my strength was in being able to explain problem conditions to clients without scaring them to death, and I continue to practice this every day. Every SH&CISCO client gets an immediate and full explanation verbally, followed by a documentary report. If you cannot attend your inspection, you will get a phone call with the same explanation. SH&CISCO works for YOU, and actively reports to you. You will never get a report without discussion and explanation first.
SH&CISCO’s mission is to provide meticulous inspections, educate our clients, and leave them with the most satisfying experience they could ever imagine. Thank You for visiting our site! Please contact us by telephone if you desire further information, or if you would like to schedule an inspection.

@josh zalaski:
Josh,
Somewhere in the ballpark of 300-325, assuming there is nothing out of the ordinary about it. I do like to speak with my clients before hand, to make sure we are on the same page with regard to your needs and expectations. You can reach me at 803-261-5810. Please consider more than just price as you look for an inspector. Affiliation with professional organizations, continuing education, and a professional approach are important. There are lots of people in this business who just go through the motions, and never step back and think about what they are doing. Problems are never solved by the same level of thinking that created them.
Sincerely,
Garry

My realtor suggested you for a home inspection on a house we may buy. The home is in Elgin and is around 1382 sqft. What would be an estimated price on an inspection?
Thanks,
